Have you ever heard of manatees? If you haven’t then, I admit, I haven’t too. I’ve been to tons of aquariums before but it’s only in Sea World in San Diego that I have seen manatees. They’re also known as sea cows and are actually considered as endangered species. I’ve heard a lot of stories about them and now that I see them, they’re so fascinating.There’s a special Manatee Rescue exhibit at this aquarium-slash-water park where you’ll be able to find the creatures which have been rescued from Florida. They actually live in freshwater habitats and reside in shallow waters. They slightly resemble the appearance of walruses and prefer warm waters.
By visiting the exhibit found in Sea World, you’ll be able to watch them swim around in a huge tank. They’re graceful and look like very timid creatures but according to a friend of mine, they’re actually curious beings.
